21.12.2013 - Dublin/IRE - New Director announced

On 21st December 2013, Soke Freddy Kleinschwaerzer followed a invitation to Blessington, to test Sensei Ciaran McDonagh for 2nd Dan Chuan-Fa Kenpo. Together with Sensei Lenny Stokes from the Blessington Dojo, Soke Freddy demanded a lot within over 2 hours from Ciaran Sensei. At the end the final result was overwhealming. Almost with 90% he past his grading. Right after the grading Soke Freddy appointed Ciaran McDonagh as his new Director for Ireland, to take over from his Uncle Liam McDonagh this task and resposibility. We congratulate for 2nd Dan and hope to run a smooth and intensive partnership with Ireland in the future. May Ireland grow.

At 08.12.12 was a reunion and milestone in Kun-Tai-Ko History made. IBA DG James G. Shortt, Lord of Castleshort - invited KIAB President, Freddy Kleinschwärzer to take part at the 55th annual meeting of the IBA to honor Soke Lucien Victor Ott. Guest of honor was Soke Ott's son Didier M. Ott from South of France. Soke Ott was the founder of IBA and Kun-Tai-Ko in 1957. Lord of Castleshort the entitelt person was during Lucien Ott's illness the last one receiving our Soke's last will. This last will confirms without a doubt in a written document (English and French) about the task James G. Shortt has to fulfill. Only he is responsible to take care about the future of Kun-Tai-Ko. Now, after many years observing Luciens black belt students, it was made a disition together with Didier M. Ott (son of Lucien - him self is black belt), James G. Shortt 8. Dan and KIAB President Freddy Kleinschwärzer 8.Dan. The Kun-Tai-Ko International Associtiation of Budo will be the only accepted official body for Kun-Tai-Ko in the World by all three of them. James G. Shortt and Didier M. Ott are now Vice-Presidents of KIAB. Didier M. Ott runs also from now on KIAB France and James G. Shortt opens up KIAB Great Britain. Both are acting in their Countries as KIAB Directors.

 

Within the next couple month the present members of WKBA will receive a official letter by the host of Soke Ott's last will and by Luciens son Didier M. Ott as well as from KIAB President Freddy Kleinschwärzer. In this letter it will be stated how to proceed into the common future with all existing WKBA members, black belts and students and how the Dojo of the Countries can join the KIAB in a friendly and uncomplicated manner. The KIAB welcomes all Kun-Tai-Ko officials of the WKBA umbrella with open hands and in friendship and is looking forward to a great and better cooperation.

 

The highest aim is to follow the last will of Lucien V. Ott, our Soke of Kun-Tai-Ko and to bring the entire family in a historical step together. Austria, Germany, Belgium and Spain would be a great benefit to have all members of Kun-Tai-Ko at this historical moment together. With open hands the KIAB officials (Kleinschwärzer, Ott and Shortt) welcome all of you.

 


20.06.2011 - Reality based Self Defence in Izmir's White Club Dojo

 

Only a few interested seminar participants showed up during 35 C degrees on the 20th of June in Izmir's White Club Dojo. Shihan Freddy Kleinschwaerzer was showing very effective Self Defence techniques during 3 hours for the Izmir students and masters.

19.06.2011 - Successful test for Hasan Talaz in Izmir (TR)

 

Hasan Talaz was ready to be tested for his next degree in Ju-Jutsu. GM Freddy Kleinschwaerzer from Germany and Recep Baskan from Turkey took the honor to test Sensei Hasan Talaz. After 140 Self Defence techniques and a 14 minutes of continues sparring against weapon attacks, contact and contact less attacks during 35 C degrees without aircondition, Sensei Talaz was successful to receive the "SAN-DAN" certificate out of Shihan FK's hands.

Kun-Tai-Ko Seminar in Izmir/TR with Shihan F.Kleinschwaerzer

 

Izmir, 12.03.2011 - Hasan Talaz was the host of the first KIAB Seminar in Izmir. Participants from Kung Fu, Olympic TKD, Police Special Units and many more joined this seminar in the Sport Komplex in Balcova. Freddy Kleinschwaerzer, President of KIAB, was heading the seminar and started with various techniques of Chuan Fa Kenpo. Later he moved on to combine this techniques with Goshin-Jitsu and Ju-Jutsu as well as Kun-Tai-Ko. All participants have been motivated and excited until the very end. After a short break Hasan Talaz was showing 15 Min. of his test syllabus he had to run throug two days before for his Ni-Dan. The participants gave him a great applause for his performance and Shihan Freddy handed over to Ali Cenap Ertay Sensei. He was teaching self defence against various weapon attacks.

Ali Cenap Ertay becomes Grandmaster 5th Dan in Izmir

 

Izmir, 12.03.2011 - During a seminar at the sport komplex Ali Cenap Ertay received his 5th Dan diplom out of the hands of KIAB President Freddy Kleinschwaerzer. Ali Cenap Ertay is running KIAB Turkey since the year 2000 very succesful. He was together with Shihan Freddy teaching at the seminar to police officers, TKD Olympic Team members and other high ranking participants a special weapons self defence.

Ni-Dan exam in Izmir/TR - Hasan Talaz going for 2nd Dan

 

Izmir, 10.03.2011 - Hasan Talaz, Regional Director of KIAB Turkey was tested for his Ni-Dan in Izmir. Hasan is a student of Ali Cenap Ertay (5.Dan Ju-Jitsu), the Turkish director of the Kun-Tai-Ko International Association of Budo. Together with his partners and students he was tested for almost 2 hours in the technique of Ju-Jitsu. The head of KIAB, President Freddy Kleinschwaerzer has seen a perfect prepared Hasan Talaz. His perfomance was outstanding.
